The Best Father in the World

With the invention of facebook and other social media networks, parents around the world are posting pictures of their adorable children.  And for those that do not have children, they simply replace the kids with cats, dogs, goats or any other animal they can find around.  It is almost like a contest to come up with the most amazing photo that at the end of the day only the taker really cares that much about.  Sure you might get a ton of comments or likes for a day a or two but even the most viral pictures and videos have a very quick half life these days.   Dave Engledow has taken this approach to the extreme with his most recent “The best father in the world” set where he takes everyday scenes and translates these harmless events into humorous reckless shots.  This collection of photos is sure to bring a smile to your face whether you are a father or remember something maybe not to far off from your childhood.  We bring you The World’s Best Father with photos in various situations with Dave Engledow and his daughter Alice Bee.

“When my daughter Alice Bee was born in 2010, I knew that I wanted to document her life creatively and put together a collection of photos that she would treasure as an adult; however, I truly had no idea that this ongoing photo project would develop quite the way it has. When I first started posting photos of Alice Bee to Facebook, my intent was primarily to entertain my family and friends, and I have been pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive response that these photos have generated in many countries around the globe,” he said.
